More June Happenings

June 14, 2012 marked the last day of the school year.  We now have a second grader and a fifth grader in the house!

We celebrated Father's Day.  The Brown family is lucky to have the best Dad on the planet!

Grand-kids, great-grand-kids, and nieces make these two Papa's proud!

Uncle David with his two God-daughters

All of the kids (and some dads) enjoyed time in the pool.  Alyssa played peek-a-boo with Bentley.

Morgan found some goggles!  Olympic games, here she comes!

After swimming, we enjoyed some ice cream sundaes.  Alyssa loaded hers up with marshmallows!

After school was out for summer, the kids went to Summer Circle at St. Blase.  Amber went too.  They performed all of the the songs they were singing all week on the last day.

Right after Summer Circle, we headed to the cottage and met up with Auntie Laura, Anna, and Bobby.  We had a bon fire each day.  Getting the fire started after a huge rain storm was a challenge, but we did it!

On Saturday, we headed to the beach.  Bobby and Cameron enjoyed a boat ride...

...then some relaxing on the beach.

When we were at the beach, we saw a rainbow around the sun.  It looked so cool!

Building sandcastles, and generally getting sand everywhere!

Alyssa and Anna all cleaned up and relaxing.  We had such a fun time!

Polish Night and Fun Run

The girls danced again at Comerica Park for Polish night.  It was COLD!  Thankfully, the little bit of misty rain that fell, did not fall on us!

The girls made it on to the big screen again.  So cool!

After getting into bed after midnight, we were up bright and early on Saturday to run in the Dodge Park fun Run.  All the kids were supposed to run, but Alyssa and Cameron were WAY too tired to run.  Thankfully, Grandma and Grandpa were there to stay with the younger kiddos.  Here we are getting ready to start the race.

Madelyn finished 5th overall!  There were well over 100 runners.  We are so proud of her!

Running girls!

Daddy finishing his first race.  We are so proud of him too!

Post race.  We did it!  I think Madelyn will try the 5K next year!
